Outside the Walls - Operation WINN--We Involve Neighbors Now 

It's based on the belief that the "Church" is to be a transformational change agent in our communities. Outside the Walls workshops answer hard questions and presents workable solutions.

When do we need to get involved? Now! Operation WINN is a strategic plan for identifying neighbors and building bridges between neighborhoods leading to the development of true "community." The training includes a sermon series titled "Obedient to the Vision," which examines the vision God has given us all. The second part demonstrates how to put "Faith in Motion" and is a seven-part mobilization plan. Both are to be installed as part of the operating strategy and system for the church reaching the community – OUTSIDE THE WALLS.

LAMP Training--Leading and Mobilizing People 

Turn on the LAMP in your organization! Intentional methods and systems aimed at changing the old "20% do 80% of the work" model. LAMP is a process not a program.

"Dragons" have kept us from achieving our potential, reaching for the gusto, or realizing our dreams they have paralyzed us all. Now you can learn how to transform the "dragons" in your life.

Learn how to lead a team through an exercise of identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats your organization faces. More importantly, it teaches how to get your organization into the action stage and out of the just-talking-about-it mode.

Hand Grenades and Roses 

Violence in the workplace is a reality in today's environment. It has even invaded our schools and churches. HGR helps you develop strategies and action plans to prevent, react, or recover from such events.

Pray – do you pray with your family? "Why should I?" and "What’s in it for me?" Ever ask these questions? What about these: Is their power in prayer? Does it work? Do you pray daily with your family? Other than at mealtime?

This workshop will be a study about men and prayer. As men we are clearly called to be the spiritual leaders in our households. How do we do that when we do not pray with our families on a daily basis? Over 90% of men surveyed in a recent study believe they should pray with their families daily, yet less than 35% of those surveyed do. Why?

The Prayer and Men workshop examines the who, what, why, how, and when of prayer. There will be several guest teachers. The workshop will be facilitated by Hank Salmans, director of WINN Ministries.

Compassion Ministry Teams are designed to reach out to help people with their spiritual, physical, and relational needs. This team is often the "first" people reaching out to help folks with some type of crisis, whether felt or real need. The team works with the pastors and other persons from the church to extend help where needed. This training lays the foundation for building and operating such teams for the community served by their church. The training provides a step-by-step guide to assist with team operations.

As needs become identified within given communities, there is a need for resources to serve the individuals and families the church is helping. This training workshop teaches how to find and acquire the resources. It provides guidelines and procedures for the operation of the team from finding, training and serving team members, to the interaction with other serving teams of the particular church or churches.
